ABOUT CHATTANOOGA GOLF
LOUISVILLE---The Chattanooga Mocs are seventh after 18 holes of the Cardinal Cup. The ladies navigated UofL Golf Course at 300 Friday afternoon which is with striking distance of leader Campbell's 292.
Washington (295) is second just four strokes separates third-place Kentucky (296), the 20th-ranked team in the country, and the Mocs in seventh.
Maddy McDanel led the way with a 73. She's tied for 11th overall, two shots clear of
Kirsty Beckwith and
Esme Hamilton who are tied in 25th at 75.
Dorota Zalewska added 77 with
Rheagan Hall's 80 serving as the drop tally.
The host Cardinals boast the individual leader. Mairead Martin started out with 4-under 68.

3 NOTES TO KNOW
- Six birdies on the counting cards ties for the second fewest this season. Also recorded six in the second round of the Princess Anne Invite. The Mocs recorded 10 or more in 10 of the opening 13 rounds this season.
- The 49 pars are second only to the 54 also tallied in the second 18 at Princess Anne this season.
- McDanel turned in 73 or better 13 times in her last 36 cards. Her average over that span is 74.03 strokes per 18, lowest on the team over that span.
