Head Coach Katie Burrows
On the play of Louisville's defense:
"Any time you play against a team that is bigger, faster and stronger, you can't play back on your heels.  One of the things I am trying to instill in my girls is … you have to catch, hold and look to get them off balance.  We had dribbling queens tonight.  We just wanted to catch, dribble, catch, dribble.  That is not effective against a team that is quicker than you.  You must catch, get them off balance in order to ge into the paint.

"We harp on paint touches for us to get good looks on the perimeter or even around the rim.  We try to get the ball and work inside out.  That could be a post-feed.  That could be a back-door.  That could be just a dribble drive.  We did not do that effectively because we would just catch and dribble."

"When you do that, what does the defense think you are going to do.  Oh, you are going to dribble, so they are just going to contain.  We are not the greatest off the dribble scorers, so they don't necessarily have to get up in us.  We struggle with that and we are trying to work on that."

On the frustration of playing a team like Louisville:
"When we came into this game we said we had to get back, we had to box out and we had to communicate … We talked about those things.  We talked about taking care of the ball.  The bottom line is we didn't do the things we said we needed to do in order to compete.  That is the frustrating thing for me.

On the play of Eboni Williams:
"Eboni is a super athlete.  She is very quick and has a quick first step.  I am trying to get her to utilize that a lot more.  I was thankful she was able to produce some points.  We are trying to get her to play with controlled energy, because she brings energy every time she steps on the court.  She is going to give you fire and energy, but I have to get her under control.  She did a better job of that tonight.  There were a couple of times where she drove in a little bit to deep and they were able to get hands on it and get deflections.  She was able to make that adjustment in the second half, so I was glad to see that.  She provides a lot of fire for us and has a lot of athleticism.  She is just a sophomore and had a lot to learn, but I was pleased she was able to provide a spark.

On what is said to the team after a game like this:
"Just that we have goals that we have set for ourselves and we didn't achieve those goals.  We make them as realistic as possible.  A team like this, especially with the way we have been struggling to score, we have to get defensive stops.  We have to do the little things, like boxing out and not giving up second-chance points."
