TEAM
- Mocs fall 71-56 at South Dakota State … UTC is 1-10 overall … The Jackrabbits improve to 7-4 … UTC is 0-2 against SDSU.
 
- After getting behind 14-6 at the 3:23 mark of the first quarter, the Mocs went on a 9-0 run to take its first lead of the game, 15-14 with 14 seconds in the period … a buzzer beating layup gave SDSU the lead, 16-15 at the quarter break.
 
- Chattanooga had four 3-pointers in the second quarter that gave them the lead each time … SDSU got five points to close out the first half to take the lead for good.
 
- Mocs edged on the boards 35-30 … UTC gave up 10 points on 13 turnovers and scored seven on eight Jackrabbit turnovers.
 
- UTC was 21-of-51 from the field (41.2%) and 10-of-24 from the 3-point line … second most 3-pointers this season.
 
- Chattanooga scored 13 second chance points on nine offensive boards … all four of the Mocs off the bench scored led by Dena Jarrells six points.
