Chattanooga Basketball Postgame Quotes
Chattanooga at No. 9 N.C. State
Reynolds Coliseum – Raleigh, N.C.

Head Coach Katie Burrows
Thoughts on the game:
"If you don't put the ball in the hole, you can't win. We have to score. That is the bottom line. We had some gutsy plays and I thought we got better at some things tonight.Â
"Our transition defense was very poor. I thought we gave up too many offensive boards. On the flip side, I don't think we crashed hard enough. When you are not shooting the ball well, you have to go get second and third opportunities and I don't think we were looking to do that quite so well this evening.
"The story for us is, we have to box out and we have to take care of the ball and we didn't do that very well today. We have to continue to get better at those things."Â
On the play in the first quarter and the run in the second quarter:
"My kids, they are not going to quit. They are very resilient and they are going to keep battling through all of his diversity. We knew the game plan was going to work, if we just stuck to it. We were able to get back in there for a little.Â
"Again, our transition defense was very poor and that is what really hurt us. That is when they got that jump and we just could not stop them in transition. We had them in the half court and were actually doing a pretty good job."Â

On coaching against Wes Moore:
"It is nice for us to visit. We have talked several times leading up to it and we will talk several times after. I actually spent some time with him after walking around and looking at some things here and seeing where he lives now. I have not been here since he has been here. It is nice to be around him again. It is always cool to go against one of your mentors."Â
