- Chattanooga fell 64-60 at Wofford Saturday afternoon at Richardson Indoor Stadium … UTC falls to 11-14 overall and 6-4 in SoCon play … the Terries improve to 14-12 on the year and 6-5 in league play.
- The loss was the Mocs first in the regular season against the Terriers … snapped a 43-game win streak dating back to December 1999.
- Mocs led 18-16 at the end of the first and stretched its lead to 23-16 at the 8:13 mark of the second quarter … Chattanooga trailed 31-28 at halftime … tied the game 40-40 with 3:04 to play in the third and the teams were tied 46-46 headed into the fourth quarter.
- Wofford used a 12-0 run to get out to a 58-46 lead with 5:56 to play in the fourth quarter … Mocs responded with a 12-2 run to cut the lead to 60-58 with 1:19 to play … Wofford scored four of the final six points for the 64-60 win.
- Chattanooga was 25-of-69 (36.2%) in the game … 9-of-27 from 3-point line … 1-of-2 from free throw line … made it to the FT line in the first period.
- Wofford was 26-of-61 (42.6%) for the game … 4-of-11 from 3-point line … 8-of-13 from free throw line.
- UTC edged Wofford 28-26 in the paint … Wofford had seven points off 10 UTC turnovers compared to the Mocs' four points off seven Terrier turnovers … Chattanooga had nine points on 12 offensive boards and Wofford had seven points off nine offensive rebounds.
