TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 61-56 win over Samford in a Blackout at McKenzie Arena tonight.  UTC improved to 12-14 overall and 7-4 in SoCon play … Samford dropped to 9-17 and 4-7 in league action.

- The Mocs snapped a three-game losing streak with tonight's win.

- UTC trailed by nine 20-11 in the second quarter after a 9-0 run by Samford … Mocs closed the half on a 13-5 run to close the game to 25-24 at the break.

- Mocs opened the second half on a 14-0 run to take control of the game.  Samford did not score its first point in the second half until the 2:01 mark in the third on a Hill layup.

- Samford cut the lead to three 59-56 with 51 seconds left in the game.

- UTC was 15-17 (88.2%) from the FT line tonight … second-best percentage of the year (9-9, 1.000 vs. N.C. State on 12/21). 

- Mocs shot 21-45 (46.7%) from the field … 45 attempts tied for the second-lowest of the year.

- Mocs outrebounded Samford 35-20 … 20 rebounds allowed is the lowest for UTC this season … did not allow any second-chance points … fewest rebounds allowed since 19 against Green Bay on Nov. 25, 2016. 

- UTC committed 21 turnovers … most in SoCon play this season … third time this season with 20+.

- Nine steals tied for the most in SoCon play this season by UTC.

INDIVIDUAL
Lakelyn Bouldin – 33 – Jr. – G
- Tied for team-high with 12 points.
- Shot 4-7 from the field, 1-3 from three and 3-3 from the FT line.
- Added five boards and two assists
- Two steals tied a season-high.
- Played 40 minutes for the second time this season.
- 170 career threes made tied Miranda Warfield (2000-04) for fifth all-time at UTC.

Brooke Burns – 23 – So. – G
- Tied a season-high with a game-high seven boards.
- Seven points on 3-6 shooting, 1-1 from the FT line.

Morgan Hill – 13 – Fr. – G
- 10 points on 2-5 shooting, 1-3 from three and 5-6 from the FT line.
- Team-high three assists.

Pare Pene – 10 – Fr. – G
- Season-high 14 minutes off the bench.
- Previous high was five at UCF on Nov. 30.
- Three points on 1-2 shooting, 1-1 from the FT line.
- One assist and one turnover. 

Arianne Whitaker – 4 – Jr. – F
- Tied for team-high with 12 points.
- One off her season-high 13 vs. N.C. State.
- Third time in last four games in double-figures … four of six.  
- Seventh game in double-figures this season.
- Shot 5-8 from the field and 2-3 from the FT line.
- Season-high two steals.
- Added four boards and two blocks.
- 18 blocks in the last five games.

Eboni Williams – 5 – Fr. – F
- 12 points in 21 minutes off the bench.
- Tied for team-high in scoring.  
- Shot 4-8 from the field, 4-4 from the FT line.
- 10^th game in double-figures this season.
- Season-high four steals.
- Tied a season-high with two blocks.
- Added five boards.
