TEAM
- Chattanooga lost 53-49 to UNCG in Greensboro, N.C. … now 12-16 overall, 7-6 in the Southern Conference … the Spartans are 11-17 overall, 5-8 against the league.
 
- The Mocs are in a battle for second/third in the league standings … UTC is currently tied with Wofford for third and one game behind Furman.
 
- UTC outscored the Spartans 17-11 in the fourth quarter and had a 15-6 run that started with a layup by Mya Long with 8:31 to play and capped off by a 3-pointer from Lakelyn Bouldin with 19 seconds remaining.
 
- Bouldin drained her fourth 3-pointer of the game with 19 seconds to play from the corner and drew a foul … she missed her free throw, but the Mocs were able to get the ball back when UNCG knocked it out of bounds on the rebound … UTC could not get the 3-point attempt by Bria Dial to fall.
 
- Mocs shot 33.3 percent (19-of-57) from the field and made 8-of-18 (44.4%) from beyond the 3-point line … UTC was 3-of-4 from free throw line.
 
- UNCG shot 37.1 percent (23-of-62) from the field and had just one 3-pointer, an early shot by Nadine Soliman, in 10 tries and were 6-of-8 from the free throw line.
 
- UNCG outscored UTC 34-16 in the paint … 15-14 off turnovers … 14-13 on second chance points … 8-6 on fast break points … UTC's bench outscored the Spartans' 21-2
 
- UNCG led wire-to-wire, but the first shot did not get made until the 6:54 mark of the opening quarter.
 
- The Spartans outrebounded the Mocs 43-34 and had 14 offensive rebounds to the Mocs' nine.
 
- UTC had 17 turnovers … 13 came in the first half … UNCG had 16 turnovers.
