Mocs Fall at ETSU 5-2

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 match at ETSU today. The Mocs fall to 7-8 overall and 0-3 in Southern Conference action. The Bucs improved to 8-9 and 3-0 in league duals.
UTC took the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Sophomore Bogdana Zaporozhets and freshman Polina Goloputova won 6-2 over Raquel Amaro and Yi Chi Ma at No. 2. Seniors Caroline Hall and Annie Tarwater clinched the point at No. 3 with a 7-5 win over yunuen Elizarraras and Pascual-Larrinaga.
Senior Delaney Edwards scored the lone point in singles for the Mocs. She defeated Alejandra Morales (6-3, 6-4) at No. 2 for her second win in a row.
The Mocs stay on the road for tomorrow's match at Mercer. First serve against the Bears is set for 2:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) at the Leroy Peddy Tennis Center in Macon, Ga.
