ABOUT CHATTANOOGA GOLF
BATON ROUGE---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team completed the LSU Tiger Classic with a 54-hole total of 927 for a seventh-place finish. The Mocs turned in 315 over the final 18 at University Club.
Monica San Juan's 75 was the squad's low number.
Maddy McDanel was next with 79.
Esme Hamilton carded 80 followed by
Kirsty Beckwith and
Rheagan Hall's 81.
San Juan ended the event in 13th with 227. McDanel and Beckwith also earned top 20s at 231. Hall tallied 239, one ahead of Hamilton's 240.
San Juan missed her ninth career top 10 by one shot. The 13th-place ending is her fourth top 15 of 2018-19. It's McDanel's fourth top 20, third for Beckwith.
No. 25 Campbell claimed the team title shooting 896. LSU was second at 902 with Old Dominion third with 908. UTSA's Ana Gonzalez won medalist honors with a 4-over 220.
The Mocs complete the regular season next week at the Brickyard Collegiate. The two-day, 54-hole tourney takes the tee April 8-9 (Mon-Tue) at the Brickyard in Macon, Ga. Live scoring is available on the women's golf schedule page on GoMocs.com.

3 NOTES TO KNOW
- McDanel and San Juan each shot 1 under on the University Club par 3 for their three days. That tied for third-best in the field.
- The squad averaged 4.40 strokes per par 4 hole. The 48 over total is second-highest of the campaign. It's 0.16 higher than the Mocs' 4.24 in the prior eight tourneys.
- University Club proved a difficult test for the 10-team field. The scoring average was 78.46 for the field, 79.80 over the final 18. The Mocs averaged 79.2 for the final round, 77.87 for the tournament.
