- Chattanooga fell 49-41 at UNCG Saturday afternoon … UTC is 2-14 overall and 1-1 in SoCon play … UNCG is 13-4 overall and 2-0 in SoCon play.
 
- After trailing 15-8 with 8:31 to play in the second quarter, the Mocs went on a 14-2 run to take the lead into halftime, 22-17.
 
- Dena Jarrells scored all seven of her points in the second quarter run … 2-2 from 3-point line and 1-2 from free throw line.
 
- UNCG outscored the Mocs 14-4, including a 10-0 run, over the third period to retake the lead.
 
- After missing Western Carolina game due to illness, Eboni Williams returned to the lineup coming off the bench and led UTC in rebounding.
 
- UNCG outrebounded the Mocs 38-29 … scored eight points off 12 offensive rebounds … UTC had eight points off eight offensive boards.
 
- Chattanooga scored 11 points off 13 Spartan turnovers … UNCG had 10 points off 15 Mocs' miscues.
 
- UNCG outscored the Mocs 26-16 in the paint and 12-0 on fast breaks … Chattanooga's bench, led by Jarrells, outscored UNCG 10-5.
 
- Chattanooga shot 16-of-51 from the field (31.4%) and 7-19 (36.8%) from the 3-point line … UTC was 2-of-4 from the free throw line.
 
- The Spartans were 18-of-51 from the floor (35.3%) and 1-of-10 from the 3-point line while making 12-of-14 from the free throw – 6-for-6 in the final 21 seconds of the game.
