On the difference in today's performance
"There are still a few too many turnovers, but the fact that we were able to share the ball and have 25 assists definitely cancelled that out. Really excited about the fact that we learned that when we play individually we're not as successful. We finally figured that out and we were successful with that tonight. Hopefully that's a trend."
 
On the large number of outstanding individual performances
"We were finding those players. We noticed that they had the hot hand and were able to get the ball to them. I talked to Bria [Dial] yesterday before practice and kind of challenged her. She said 'you know what. I need to get in the gym and get some shots up.' I said if it happens that quickly, you need to shoot every day like that.
 
"I was impressed that she and Eboni [Williams] did their thing. Sigrun [Olafsdottir} finally came alive. I talked with her and said: 'Be who you are and don't try to change who you are.' She finally connected as well."
 
On the first meeting with Georgia Southern since 2014
"They look a lot different as far as the style of play. They were the flex team. They always ran the flex, like continuation, when [head coach] Rusty Cram was there. We knew what to expect. This team is a little different. They push tempo, they put a lot more pressure. It was pretty interesting. I don't miss the trips to Statesboro, but I miss having them in the league because it was always a competitive game."
