The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team scored a 6-1 win over USC Upstate tonight.  The Mocs won two doubles and five singles to improve to 4-0 in the spring.  The Spartans dropped to 0-3 overall. 

Chattanooga won the opening doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3.  Freshman Jessie Young and junior Bogdana Zaporozhets improved to 4-0 with a win at No. 2.  Freshman Grace Anne Dunavant made her dual match debut, teaming with sophomore Lilly Holmes to clinch the doubles at No. 3.

Zaporozhets was impressive in singles with a quick (6-0, 6-1) win at No. 4.  Young followed with a (6-0, 6-2) win at No. 1.

Upstate scored its lone point at No. 2, but freshman Callie Billman clinched the win at No. 6. Billman improved to 4-0 this spring with her win.  Sophomore Polina Goloputova followed with a win at No. 3, and Holmes closed out the match and ran her win streak to four at No. 5. 

Up next for the Mocs is trip to UNC Asheville on Feb. 14.  The next home match is a Feb. 16 doubleheader against Marquette and Brenau.  Check back to GoMocs.com for specific times and locations.
