Opening thoughts on the game, beginning with free throw shooting:
"We ended up catching up in that respect. We did not shoot it very well. We have been shooting the ball really well from the foul line in conference play and we did not today. I know what we are working on in practice tomorrow. You are right, taking advantage of that in the fourth quarter and getting to the foul line really helped us.
"We did not do a good job of keeping them off the boards. They did not shoot it very well, so they were crashing hard every time. That is a little frustrating and we are gong to have to box out much better if we are going to be successful.Â
"We took much better care of the ball. We only had four turnovers in the second half."
"We shared the ball really well … Nakeia with seven assists. We had four in double figures. When you have several people connecting like they are and contributing like they are, it is really tough for the opposing team to guard that. I am thankful that we are spreading the love on the offensive end."
On the administrative technical fouls:
"They said it was the shot clock horn that was not working properly. It was not going off … That is something that they were very clear about in the rules that everything has to be functioning as it is supposed to be functioning. We shot the two and then still tipped like nothing had happened. It was nice to get those two free points."
