TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs score a 58-52 win over Mercer in McKenzie Arena tonight.  The Mocs improve to 9-17 overall and 8-4 in SoCon action.  Mercer dropped to 6-20 and 3-8 in league action.

- 17-7 all-time vs. Mercer … 9-2 at home … snapped a five game slide to the Bears in the series. 

- After posting a 1-13 record in non-conference action, the Mocs have won three in a row and five of their last six to move to within a ½ game of first place in the SoCon race behind Samford (13-13, 8-3 SoCon) and UNCG (19-7, 8-3 SoCon).

- Mercer was just 0-2 from behind the arc tonight … 0-7 from three in the two games against UTC this season. 

- UTC outrebounded Mercer 39-37 … Mocs have won or tied the rebounding battle in four of its last five and seven of 12 SoCon games.

- This game featured seven ties and eight lead changes …  UTC's eight-point lead with 3:47 left in the first half was the biggest of the game. 

INDIVIDUAL
Lakelyn Bouldin – Sr.-G
- 10 points on 3-6 shooting, 2-2 from three and 2-3 from the FT line.
- Topped 1,400 points for her career (1,409). 
- Passed Julie Copeland (1987-91) for eighth in all-time scoring at UTC.
- Added three boards and two assists. 

NaKeia Burks – Sr.-G
- Career-high and team-high nine rebounds. 
- Second time leading the team in rebounds.
- Added four points and three assists.

Bria Dial – Jr.-G
- 17 points on 6-15 shooting, 1-6 from three and 4-4 from the FT line.
- Tied a season-high with eight boards for second game in a row.
- 15.3 ppg in last seven games.
- 6.4 rpg last five games.

Eboni Williams – So.-F
- 14 points and six boards.
- Shot 6-13 form the field, 1-3 from three and 1-3 from the FT line.
- Added two assists and a steal.
- Double-figure scoring in three of last four games.
- 11^th game in double-figures … 22^nd of her career.
- Topped 500 points for her career (513).
