The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 match at MTSU today.  UTC falls to 5-4 overall while the Blue Raiders improve to 6-5 with the win.

After MTSU took the first doubles match at No. 2, freshmen Callie Billman and Grace Anne Dunavant scored a 7-5 win over Noelle Mauro and Love-Star Alexis.  The No. 1 match was tight but MTSU took the point with a 6-4 win.

MTSU kept the momentum in singles, winning four of the six first sets. Wins at No. 2 and No. 3 ran the Blue Raider lead to 3-0. 

Junior Emma Van Hee put the Mocs on the board with a win at No. 4.  That win upped her singles record to 5-0 at No. 4 and 6-1 overall for the spring season. 

Freshman Jessie Young and Billman were trying to make a comeback at No. 1 and No. 5, but MTSU scored the clinching point at No. 6 before those could finish. 

The Mocs are right back at it tomorrow against UT Martin.  Match time is set for 10:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
