ABOUT CHATTANOOGA GOLF
CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team heads to Florida for the UNF Collegiate in Jacksonville. It starts Monday with the Mocs headlining the 15-team field.
This is the third straight entry in the UNF Collegiate field. The ladies finished as runners-up in 2018 before ending up sixth a year ago. They look to compete for the top spot this week building on a solid start to the season.
Esme Hamilton leads the quintet. Her 72.78 scoring average is currently the top number in school history. It's more than a half-stroke ahead of Emily McLennan's record of 73.34 set in 2015-16.
She's joined in Jacksonville by
Maddy McDanel,
Rheagan Hall,
Kirsty Beckwith and
Dorota Zalewska. Beckwith led the ladies tying for 18th in last year's field shooting 5-over 221.
The two-day, 54-hole visit to Jacksonville Golf & Country Club is played with 36 holed on Monday and a final 18 Tuesday. Live scoring and tee times, when available, are linked above.

3 NOTES TO KNOW
- 17 par/better cards - Hamilton 7, McDanel 6, Hall & Zalewska 2 - is three more than 14 last season.
- Beckwith's tie for 18th last year followed a tie for 13th at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. Those were her first top 20s in a Mocs uniform.
- McDanel topped her career total of par/better 18s with six so far. Opened with five in first three years.
