Lanni Marchant, the 2007 Southern Conference Female Athlete of the Year, talks about her journey to her second Olympic Summer Games as a member of the Canadian team on this week's episode of Mocs on the Mic.

Marchant qualified in the 10K and Marathon in 2016 and is currently training in Colorado for a second shot at the Marathon.

The Ontario native is a six-time Southern Conference Champion in cross country, indoor and outdoor track while earning 14 all-conference honors. She was inducted into the UTC Sports Hall of Fame in 2015 for her accomplishments as a member of all three teams.

After graduating from UTC in 2017, she went on to law school in both Michigan and Canada and is a practicing attorney for a Chattanooga law firm.
