- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 70-57 win over Samford in McKenzie Arena tonight … UTC improved to 8-6 overall and 3-2 in Southern Conference action … league-leading Samford fell to 7-7 and 4-1 in SoCon play.

- After losing by 11 to Samford on Thursday (71-60), the Mocs were 24 points better tonight.

- UTC led by as many as 26 (66-40 – 7:32 4^th).

- Mocs had 23 assists on 31 baskets in the game … 14 in the first half … second-most this season (25 vs. Georgia Southern – 12/20) … most assists in a league game since 23 against Wofford in a 75-36 win over Jan. 18, 2014. 

- UTC snapped a two-game slid with the win.
