- The Chattanooga Mocs dropped a 50-42 Southern Conference contest at Mercer tonight … Mocs drop to 8-7 overall and 3-3 in SoCon action … Bears remain atop the league standings with an 11-4 overall record, 5-1 in SoCon action.Â
- UTC opened the game shooting 2-14 (14.3%) from the field, 0-5 from three and 2-2 from the FT line in the first quarter … still led 6-5 as Mercer shot 2-16 (12.5%) from the field, 0-1 from three and 1-2 from the foul line.
- UTC's top two scorers,

Bria Dial (0), had just two points through the first three quarters of play.
- Trailing 37-31 after three quarters, the Mocs used a 9-1 run to start the fourth quarter to get back in the game.
