TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs dropped a 50-42 Southern Conference contest at Mercer tonight … Mocs drop to 8-7 overall and 3-3 in SoCon action … Bears remain atop the league standings with an 11-4 overall record, 5-1 in SoCon action. 

- UTC opened the game shooting 2-14 (14.3%) from the field, 0-5 from three and 2-2 from the FT line in the first quarter … still led 6-5 as Mercer shot 2-16 (12.5%) from the field, 0-1 from three and 1-2 from the foul line.

- UTC's top two scorers, Eboni Williams (2) and Bria Dial (0), had just two points through the first three quarters of play.

- Trailing 37-31 after three quarters, the Mocs used a 9-1 run to start the fourth quarter to get back in the game.

- Mocs led 41-40 with 2:52 left to play after Amaria Pugh hit 1-2 from the FT line … outscored 10-1 from there. 

- Mocs allowed 18 offensive rebounds to Mercer … Bears had a 12-5 advantage in second-chance points.   

- 42 points is a season-low for the Mocs … fewest since 41 at UNCG last season.

- 2-14 (14.3%) from three for the game … tied for fewest makes this season (Furman – 1/17) … also fewest attempts … second-worst percentage (2-18 (11.1%) at Furman – 1/17).

- 50 points are the fewest allowed this season … Mercer shot 20-66 (30.3%) from the field … season-low for a Mocs opponent … also 2-9 (22.2%) from three. 

- Mercer held a 14-3 advantage in points off turnovers … Mocs had 17 miscues to Mercer's 10.

- Thanks to turnovers and offensive rebounds, Mercer had 16 more shots than the Mocs (66-50).

- Shot 4-5 from the field.

Eboni Williams – Jr.-F
- Seven points on 3-8 shooting, 1-1 from the FT line.
- Fouled out for the fourth time this season … first since at North Alabama on Dec. 29.
- Only second game of the year not in double-figures scoring.
