Head Coach Katie Burrows
On Vanderbilt's physicality.
"You go on the road to an SEC school in a super physical conference, and we didn't match the physicality. I told them at halftime that they have to battle. We are on the road and they are being physical and you have to be physical right back. I felt like they did a good job of battling in the second half. There are still so many things that need to get cleaned up."

On new faces performing.
"We had some folks step up today that had not in the past. Brooke [Hampel] scored for us and Amaria [Pugh] connected as well. We have to keep building on that. Vanderbilt did a good job taking Abbey [Cornelius] out of her game and she still got nine points and nine rebounds. Their points off turnovers and their rebounds were just daggers. We did a much better job handling the ball in the second half and hopefully we can carry that over to the next one."

On the shooting beyond the arc.
"Our three-point percentage was better. I am trying to find little positives to keep them going. We told them when they drive into the paint to look to kick it out and I thought we did a good job with that tonight."
