TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs led start-to-finish cruising to a 62-51 triumph over UNC Asheville Monday afternoon in McKenzie Arena…UTC is now 2-11, while the Bulldogs are 5-6.

- Fifth all-time meeting…first since 2006…first two meetings were also on Dec. 20 in 1996 and 1997…more on the series below.

- UTC is now four wins away from 900 all-time…896-502 (.641) all-time…first official season of women's basketball was 1974-75…483-187 (.721) this century.

- Made first six shots jumping out to a 14-0 lead before the Bulldogs first basket at 5:43 of the opening period…run reached 16-2 before settling for a 20-6 first quarter finish.

- The Bulldogs closed to inside 10 points, twice late in the second quarter and was down nine, 31-22, inside a minute until halftime…Mocs out-scored them 17-1 over the next 7+ minutes before a Nadria Evans jumper stopped the bleeding at 3:29 in the third…the run propelled the Mocs to a 25-point advantage putting the game away early.

- Shot 46.3 percent (26-58) from the field tonight…season best shooting percentage…60 percent (24-40) inside the 3pt line.

- 28 FG made is a season high.

- 42-18 advantage on points in the paint.

- +5 rebounding margin with 38 compared to 33 for the Bulldogs…UNCA scored 14 points off 14 offensive rebounds.

- UNCA is now 3-3 against SoCon schools with wins at Western Carolina (74-72 OT), at Wofford (70-64) and at ETSU (66-56) and losses to Chattanooga, at UNC Greensboro (52-46) and at Furman (64-49)…all six came on the road.
