Head Coach Katie Burrows:
On getting off to the strong start.

"It was incredibly important to get off to that start. The entire first half was huge. There were too many turnovers and we were trying to do too many things. Other than that, I was pretty pleased. We put an emphasis on Evans and Carter. We knew those two were going to be the focus. I felt like we did a good job of smothering them."

On Hampel's production.

"She is finding her offensive 'swag.' At Vanderbilt I challenged her. I told her that when she got the ball she needed to look to score. It's been showing and today she shot 6-for-6 from the field. The production there is good to see and knowing that we can get that from her is going to be nice.

On playing as a team.

"We had several possessions where we didn't execute the play properly and we ended up turning the ball over. I kept telling them we are better together than we are individually. We did that today and we made an emphasis to share the ball."

On the fourth quarter performance

"We did some things we don't normally do. I put some people in the fourth quarter in some situations that they haven't been practicing. That's my fault and we need to prepare them for those situations. That comes with game experience, too. Other than that, I couldn't be more proud… we got the lead and kept the lead."
