- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 57-41 Southern Conference win over UNCG in McKenzie Arena tonight.  The Mocs improve to 13-8 overall and 8-4 in league action with the win, while the Spartans fell to 6-15 and 4-8 in SoCon play.

- Senior Bria Dial led all scorers with 16 points, while junior Abbey Cornelius had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. 

- Mocs outrebounded UNCG 48-28 … second most boards this season (50 at Georgia State 12/21) … largest rebound margin since +21 (39-18) in a 76-56 win over Wofford on Feb. 25, 2017.

- 57 points are the fewest in a win for the Mocs this season … fewest in a win since a 51-49 victory at Wofford on Feb. 15, 2020. 

- Mocs never trailed in the game.

- UTC had 23 turnovers in the game … 13 in the fourth quarter when UNCG pressed the Mocs' reserves.

- Chattanooga had 16 assists on its 22 makes tonight.

- UNCG was 0-14 from three-point range … second time in last three games UTC has held an opponent to zero three-point FGs (WCU was 0-8 on Feb. 11).

- UNCG's 41 points are the fewest allowed by the Mocs this season … fewest since allowing 41 at Western Carolina on Feb. 1, 2018.
