Head Coach Katie Burrows
What is your take away from this game
"It gave us an opportunity to work on our zone. I didn't feel like we had to play zone, it was just a good opportunity to play it. I thought our man-to-man was excellent. You can tell by the score. We just did a good job of executing. Most of their points came in the paint and the foul like. That is what their MO is. I want to keep working on zones because we are going to need it at some time."
Â
On UNCG pressing in the last five minutes of the game
"I feel like it wasn't happening the whole game and then all of a sudden it happened. Obviously, they executed it well. I'll tell you this, even though we turned the ball over a great deal in that last few minutes, I felt like when we got them set back up in their offense, we stopped them. We did a good job. I was pleased to see the fight was still there. You question yourself on whether or not to rescue. I don't think they wanted me to rescue them. They wanted to keep trying. I'm thankful for their efforts in those last few minutes as well."
Â
Feelings on the team heading into the tournament
"I think a lot of people are really starting to understand their roles. I think our flow is better on both ends of the floor. Starting to find that consistency I've been looking for."

Abbey Cornelius, junior center
On staying focused in this game
"I think we do a good job in the huddle, just staying focused and talk to each other and keep our goal in mind. It helps to have a crowd back to keep our energy up to where if the energy is high, it helps to stay focused like that."
Â
On starting to play your best ball heading into tournament
"It's big. Getting these last three wins so far and if we can get two more that will be huge to have that streak going in and have that confidence."
Â
Defensive take away from this game
"I was very proud of our defense tonight. I thought we stuck to the game plan. We really focused on the personnel and I thought we did a good job of blocking down and guarding them."
Â
On the Mocs rebound advantage
"We focused on that. We've given up too many offensive rebounds this season, so we really focused on boxing out and going to get the ball."
Â

Bria Dial, senior guard
Â
Thoughts on the game
"I feel like they were very aggressive. I feel like we just came out and shut them down from the beginning and didn't give them a chance."
Â
"I feel like it was decent. There were times when we needed to pick it up when they were going on a little run. Overall, I feel like we did ok. We could have done better."
Â
Take away from this game
"I feel like the past couple of games we've been good on defense, been able to be there for one another. I feel like its building our chemistry a bit more and we can take more chances."
