EATONTON, Ga.---The Chattanooga Mocs shot 319 in the opening round of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. The Mocs were led by the duo of Esme Hamilton and Daphne van Son on the Great Waters Course.
 
Hamilton and van Son each turned in 79 which was one ahead of Dorota Zalewska's 80. Beatriz Barrios completed the counting cards with 81, while Jefimija Dordevic had the drop score of 86.
 
Host Mercer leads with 297. Old Dominion is close on its heels with 298. The Bears Payton Schanen is the individual leader turning in 70.
 
Round two starts Saturday morning at 9 a.m., for the Mocs. Dordevic and Zalewska get it started off No. 1 followed nine minutes later by Hamilton, Barrios and van Son. The field plays 18 holes per day ending with a final 18 on Sunday. Links to results and live scoring are above.
