TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs dropped a 58-50 Southern Conference home game to UNC Greensboro today.  The Mocs fall to 13-9 overall and 8-5 in SoCon action with the loss, while the Spartans move to 7-15 overall and 5-8 in conference action.

- Junior Abbey Cornelius led the Mocs with a double-double.  She posted 17 points and a game-high 16 rebounds in the loss.  Sophomore Brooke Hampel chipped in 11 points off the bench.

- This was a 24-point turnaround from the Mocs 57-41 win over the Spartans on Friday.

- UTC was 18-59 (30.5%) from the field … second-lowest FG% of the season (14-55 (25.5%) vs. Eastern Kentucky 12/18).

- 11-12 (91.7%) from the FT line tied for the best percentage of the season (11-12 – 91.7% vs. Western Carolina 2/11).

- UTC committed 23 fouls in the game … second-most this season (25 vs. Tennessee Tech 12/11).

- Game was tied at 43-43 with 6:59 left to play when UNCG went on an 11-0 run … all 11 points were scored by the Spartans Pernilla Sorensen, who hit three threes and a two. 

- Mocs outrebounded UNCG by 20 (48-28) on Friday … Spartans won the battle on the boards today 44-40. 

- UNCG was 0-14 from three-point range on Friday, but 6-11 today. 

- Mocs honored seniors Liz Wood, Bria Dial and team manager Monet Wood after the game. 

SERIES NOTES
- 58th meeting.
- 47-11 overall.
- 21-4 at home.
- 39-7 in the SoCon regular season.
- 3-3 under Katie Burrows.
- UNCG's first win in McKenzie Arena since a 71-68 win on Jan. 2, 2007.

- Second-straight double-double with 17 points and a game-high 16 rebounds.
- Fifth double-double this season … eighth career.
- Team-high scoring … fifth time leading the team in scoring.
- Shot 5-13 from the field, 0-1 from three and 7-8 from the FT line.
- Tied for team-high with three assists for the second game in a row.
- 12^th game in double-figures … 25^th career.
- Seventh game with 10+ boards … 12th career.

Brooke Hampel – So.-G
- 11 points in 22 minutes off the bench.
- Shot 4-6 from the field, 1-3 from three and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Added four boards and two assists.
- Second game in double-figures this season.
- Only had 10 points in previous four games total.
