Head Coach Katie Burrows
Opening Statement:
"They had some kids who weren't hitting, then they started hitting and we didn't make that adjustment and get out and guard.  The Carrington kid, No. 5, hit three for four.  She's not played hardly at all this year and she didn't have the stat line.  She hits one, OK.  She hits two, she can do this, let's make sure we can figure that out.

"They were hot early and they got hot late.  There in the middle we were able to get going.  It was kind of a funky start.

"I got to play a lot of people. I'm thankful for that."

"The other thing that we did well … We had a lot of turnovers in that first half and only had five that half.  We did a much better job of cleaning things up. I told them you get one and that's it, then we got one really early so I had to check that a little bit.  Just real proud of the way that we were able to pull that out."

On the late start:
"There were some issues. Having to stand around and wait, all that made it tough. It took us a minute to get going, but once we did, we were on a roll and we flowed really well."

On the play of Bria Dial:
"Knocking down some shots. She struggled against Greensboro on Sunday. I think she was ticked off at herself for that. She came out here and took care of business. It's funny, she shoots them and knocks them down and these guys are talking about her over at the scorer's table.  I turn and tell them, she ain't shy and you're going to see more of that.  She has a big green light because I know that when she's hot, she's hot. She went 0-10 (last game) and that doesn't happen.  Usually, she finds it somewhere and she just couldn't."

On the play of Dena Jarrells:
"She did a good job of scoring for us. She actually did a much better job defensively today.  She did a good job of recognizing during the talk when the shooters were coming up. That that definitely helped us out. And then obviously facilitating our office and getting us going. So real proud of her."

On sharing the basketball:
"We talked about that in pregame.  About percentages and who's shooting it well. One instance I recall, in those individual meetings and some things that we talked about were finding that person who does have that high percentage.  There was a time we had a dribble drive it got in a little trouble and they kicked it out to Kaylee in the corner and she found Dena with that extra pass and got her and assist off a three there.  I was just so proud of her because we've been working on making that extra pass and trying to find that.  She did a really, really good job. But that's just one example. We did that a bunch today."
