Opening thoughts on the game and Wofford coming back from 16 points down:
"They got really hot. The Carmen kid, No. 30, she was feeling it today. She was one of those kids too, she has the big green light and she should. She is explosive and she can get to the rim. She has a quick release and she has range. She doesn't always shoot it that well, but like I tell our kids all the time, if someone like that is not shooting it well, then they are due to make one. You have to be ready … she did a good job of helping them get back in it."
"Sigrun ultimately ended up doing a really good job on her late in the game and just smothered her."
"I can't say enough about … we got our production from our three leading scorers as usual … but we had some others. Anna came in and got seven points off the bench, so I am proud of her effort. She also did a good job of banging around."
"One thing we did such a good job with in the second half is boxing out. We gave up eight offensive rebounds in the first half. We had 2-3 that were banging hard, but it was the other two who weren't helping. We made that very clear in the locker room that you can't do that and we did a good job of adjusting that in the second half."
On losing the 16-point lead:
"We got too relaxed. Abbey got a foul and they started hammering it inside. She was trying to be careful during that quarter before I could get her out. They made a couple of really tough shots that were contested, they just went it."
"I am proud of us for getting the win, but we have a lot to clean up before Saturday. Our free throw shooting was excellent today. That is what kept us in the game. We struggled with that early in the season, but 16-18 is just a really good testament for how hard they have been working from the line."
