The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 match to No. 35 Furman at the UTC Tennis Center today. The Mocs fall to 8-6 overall and 1-2 in SoCon action, while the Paladins improved to 16-6 and 4-0 in league duals.
Junior
Bogdana Zaporozhets scored the lone win for the Mocs today. She defeated MaryAnn Rompf in a three-set marathon [6-4, 1-6, 1-0 (12-10)]. She improved to 10-7 in singles with today's victory.
Up next for the Mocs is a trip to Johnson City, Tenn., to take on ETSU on Saturday, April 3. First serve is set for 3:00 p.m. (E.D.T.).
