The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 match at ETSU in Southern Conference action today. The Mocs fall to 8-7 overall and 1-3 in league play, while the Bucs improved to 11-8 and remained tied atop the conference standings with Furman at 5-0 in SoCon duals.
The Mocs took the doubles point with two strong wins. ETSU opened with a win at No. 3, but junior
Bogdana Zaporozhets and freshman
Jessie Young defeated Laylo Bakhodirova and Emilia Alfaro 6-2 at No. 2.

Caroline Gibbens clinched the point with their 6-4 win over Alejandra Morales and Mayya Gorbunova at No. 1.
The Mocs were swept in the six singles matches. Young did push her bout with Bakhodirova to three sets before falling [6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (7)].
Up next for the Mocs is a trip to Western Carolina next weekend. The Mocs take on the Catamounts on Saturday, April 10, in Cullowhee, N.C.
