Opening Statement:
"We got a really good start. Eventually they got hot and got their open looks and started knocking some things down and made it tight there for just a little bit you know. But I think it was that start that really got it for us and gave us a buffer so when they did hit some of those threes or get or get loose a little bit honestly, it didn't hurt us as much, which was good."
 
On cohesive effort throughout the lineup:
"We've been talking with some of the girls about you know, just figuring out who they are within the offense. What are you really good at right now? Let's find ways to help you do that within the framework of our offense and just giving them simple ways to be effective and still take care of the ball. We had our spurts and at the same time we ended with 12 (turnovers) which we say if we have 12 or less we've given ourselves a chance. So you know we did well in that respect and actually only four of them came in second half. We shared the ball well with 16 assists, which was really, really good. We said it before the game, 'we're better together, share the ball and I felt like we did that'."
 
Work of freshmen Destiny McClendon & Addie Grace Porter:
"It was good that Destiny came off and got her a couple buckets. She her first two from three and I keep telling her, when you're open shoot that thing and she did (today). This was Addie's best game. And the reason I say that is because as a point guard you must take care of the ball, and she had five assists and just one turnover today. This was her best game leading the charge as a point guard."
 
Play of Amaria Pugh & Brooke Hampel:
"Here comes Mari, the Mari train three games in a row double figures and then Brooke right behind her. I got asked that question from their TV guys here before the game, you know, who are your players really clutch, really coming along and I said those two, and they proved it today."
 
On Abbey Cornelius setting a career-high with 6 blocks:
"They asked me about Abby and I said, you know, she's the full package. She does everything for us. Defensively, she cleans everything up for us. Today, they came inside and she said 'not up in here'."
