Abbey Cornelius tonight…ties season high for boards with 16 also at Tennessee State and again at home against UNC Asheville…3-0 when she grabs 16 this season, just sayin'…5-7 from the floor and 7-10 from the FT line for her 17…drew eight fouls…added four assists and three blocks.
- Cornelius came into the game ranked fifth in the nation and the SoCon leader in defensive rebounding (8.5/game)…40th nationally in overall rebounds per game (9.7)…improved those averages to 8.9 on defensive glass with all 16 tonight coming there and 10.1 total…now averaging a double-double with 13.3 ppg…last Moc to average a double-double for a season? Jasmine Joyner in 2017 with 13.1 points and 10.5 boards per contest.

Amaria Pugh has a 4-game double-figure scoring streak in SoCon play averaging 16.0 ppg…had 17 at Mercer, 18 at Samford and 18 at ETSU…shooting 57.8 percent (26-45) in league games…she was also a game-high +16 in her 31:21 of playing time.
