Head Coach Katie Burrows:
On the first half success.

"I just asked them in the huddle and I said, why did we night start with the same energy and fight as we did in the second half. We missed an opportunity today. Now we have to quickly figure out what adjustments we can make X's and O's wise and fight… I can't pull it out of them. I thought our young ones played their hearts out today and they executed what we're trying to do well. We had too many turnovers early… gave up offensive rebounds. They shot really well. We kept giving them those opportunities and we aren't staying in front of people one-on-one… and that breaks us down and the kick outs are there. We need to make that adjustment next time."

On the play of the young players.

"I was really proud of Karsen [Murphy]. She came in, stepped up and got 10 quick points. She did a good job. Even when she went in early, I felt like she did a good job. She's not really a power forward, not a center, she has a harder time with these bigger post players, but I felt like she battled today. I felt there were a couple times she got buried too deep, but she adjusted on the next play. That's not really her position, but I felt like she battled to the best of her ability. I felt like there were a couple times where we had guards on their forwards, and they battled. I was really proud of our young ones. I was really proud of all of them in the second half. We can't come out flat like that in the first half."

On the offensive production.

"Wofford did a really good job. I knew they would pack it in and not let us get into the paint, that's what we're best at. I also told our girls that they are going to have to knock down some shots in order to have to make them to extend so we can get into the paint and we didn't. We can't be 3-for-20 for three and expect things to go well."
