On playing a stronger second half
"I got there and have at halftime and I thought some of it may just been rust. We got used to playing every other day and I thought Yazz [Wazeerud-Din] was trying to get her legs up underneath her and we were just trying to find a rhythm and boy it was ugly first 20 minutes. I say ugly but we competed and kept the game close while our offense was non-existent. And then I thought there in the in the second half, we did a much better job but they really clogged that paint up and we it took us a while to figure it out. But we figured it out definitely that last 10 minutes."
 
On the Mocs defense holding UNA to 30 points below average
"Our defense, my goodness. I never thought this fast we would be as good as we are defensively. I think they average 74 points a game. We hold him to 44 [points], no threes in the second half. I thought we were super, super disciplined on that end of the floor which allowed our offense to find it."
 
 
On the play of Raven Thompson
"Ray I think got a little PTSD in there she went to go square a lay up and had flashbacks of Knoxville. But that fourth quarter she responded I challenged her there into the third. Then when she came out there at the end, I put my arms around her gave her a hug because of     how she responded for us. That kid has a chance to be really darn good and she takes some coaching, pretty tough
