- Chattanooga fell 60-56 at Marshall Wednesday in Huntington, W.Va. … UTC falls to 8-6 on the year and went 3-3 on the six-game road trip … Marshall improves to 7-5 overall, concluding non-conference play.
- This was the first meeting between the two program since 1997, Marshall's final season in the Southern Conference … UTC leads the series 19-18 … Marshall holds a 14-4 advantage on their home court against the Mocs.
- Chattanooga shot 42.3% for the game … UTC cut the lead to two points twice in the third quarter and shot 58.3 percent in the period.
- In the fourth quarter, the Mocs got to within a point with 20 second to play, 57-56, on a layup from
Raven Thompson.
