- The Chattanooga Mocs lost 64-43 to Furman on Thursday night in the Roundhouse…UTC is now 7-21, 5-8 in the Southern Conference, while the Paladins move to 16-11, 9-4 in league play.
- 902-512 (.638) all-time…first official season of women's basketball was 1974-75…488-197 (.712) this century.
- 85th all-time meeting is third-longest series behind Western Carolina (94) and ETSU (87)…49-26 in regular season SoCon matchups with the Paladins…more on the series below.
- Furman (56) is one of four teams beaten 50 times by the Mocs: Western Carolina (82), ETSU (62) and Appalachian State (54) also on the list.

- Career-high 13 rebounds by freshman guard Addie Grace Porter…25 over last three games (8.3 rpg)…added seven points, two assists, a steal and a block…drew seven fouls.
- Karsen Murphy added 11 rebounds…she and Porter each grabbed nine on the defensive glass…second career double-double with 12 points…the two came in last three games.
- Porter and Murphy are the second double-digit board duo in a game this season…Murphy (10) and Abbey Cornelius (16) did it in the November win at Tennessee State.
- Dena Jarrells had a team-high 13 points…double figures in six of last seven…hit three 3pt for the fourth time in last five games…11th game this season with three or more treys, 16th career.
- Jarrells is two 3pt made shy of 100 in her career.
