Head Coach Katie Burrows:

On the slow offense to start the game.

"We have to make shots. We are getting really good looks and we can't throw it in the ocean. We have to make shots. It looked like we are rushing our shots, they are running hard. We knew we had to make three's today because they pack the paint. We allowed [our shooting] to affect our defense. I don't think we played extremely poor defensively… only allowed 64 points."

On Furman's Hodges.

"We said that Tierra Hodges was going to be the factor, we have to stop her. We did [stop her]. Then others got hot and we didn't adjust to them. We allowed those things to happen when we were feeling sorry for ourselves because we didn't knock down shots."

On the team playing shorthanded.

"Dena Jarrells and Karsen Murphy did what they needed to point wise. We had some kids that were trying to step up. I think it is just shots weren't falling. We tried to force things into the paint and that's where our turnovers kept coming from."

On how to move forward towards the SoCon Tournament.

"We need to make shots. If we can't score, we can't stay in these ballgames. It's not our defense. The defense has really stepped up the last few games. If we are going to allow our offense to affect our defense, we need to knock down those shots. We have to score the ball in order to win… all of those other things, we can take care of."
