BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team suffered a 5-2 non-conference loss on Sunday afternoon to UAB in Birmingham, Ala., at the Lakeshore Tennis Courts.

Following the loss, Chattanooga moves to 4-2 on the young season after previously winning its last two matches. UAB improves to 3-3 and has won its last three.

"The ladies played tough today, we just couldn't get any momentum in the matches," said head coach Chad Camper.

"We learned a lot and look forward to building the program."

Chattanooga (4-2) returns to action on Friday, February 11 when it travels to Hattiesburg, Miss., to face Southern Miss at 11 a.m. ET. Stick to GoMocs.com for all updates and information regarding Chattanooga women's tennis.
