BOULDER CITY, Nev.---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is seventh after 36 holes of the Jackrabbit Invitational. The Mocs tied their fourth-lowest round with 290 in the afternoon to head into tomorrow's final 18 at 607.
 
Esme Hamilton led the way in round two with a 3-under 69. It tied her season best and was the fifth card in the 60s of her career. She was supported by a level-par effort from Carolina Hortian. That was one ahead of Dorota Zalewska's 73 while Megan Doherty added 76.
 
The ladies started the day with 307. Zalewska paced the early round with a 1-uner 71. It's her team-high ninth par or better 18. Hamilton shot 75 with Docherty and Hortian carding 80 and 81, respectively.
 
Zalewska and Hamilton are tied for third at even-par 144. Hortian has 153 with Docherty at 156. Rutgers's Anna-Maria Diederichs is the overall leader at 5-under 139 with host South Dakota State's Hester Sicking in second at 142. The Scarlet Knights led in the team standings with 577, two clear of the Jackrabbits' 579.
