SALEM, Va.---The Chattanooga Mocs got their 2023-24 wrestling season underway in the Southeast Open Saturday. Seven placed in the freshman/sophomore division to provide an optimistic start to the campaign.
 
"This weekend was a good start," Coach Kyle Ruschell shared from his bus ride back to the Scenic City. "We have a lot of things to work on and holes in our game to fix. We will continue to get better and learn."
 
There were two seconds from redshirt freshmen Kamdyn Munro (165) & Sergio Desiante (174). True freshman Isaiah Powe (141) and redshirt freshman Austin Paradice (157) added thirds. Here is the complete list of placers covering seven classes.
