- Chattanooga beat Samford 60-55 in Birmingham … Mocs improve to 15-10 overall and 7-3 in Southern Conference, tied with Wofford (7-3) for the lead … Samford falls to 13-13 overall and 7-4 against the conference.

- UTC improves it's series lead against the Bulldogs to 28-11 all-time and 21-9 in the SoCon regular season … UTC is 11-6 against the Bulldogs in Birmingham.

- The Mocs scored 19 points off 16 Samford turnovers and gave up eight on just nine miscues.

- After trailing by 10 at the end of the first (19-9), UTC outscored Samford 18-9 in the second and trailed 28-27 at halftime … Samford had a one-point advantage in the third and led 44-42 heading into the final quarter.

- Chattanooga outscored Samford 18-11 in the final frame …
Raven Thompson hit her second 3-pointer of the game at the start of the fourth quarter to give UTC the lead for good.

- The Mocs went on a 9-0 run to take a 57-47 lead with 2:22 to play and held on for the win … Samford got to within five points, 57-52, but managed just one bucket the rest of the way.

- UTC was 19-of-20 (38%) for the game and shot 50 percent in the fourth.

- Chattanooga had a season-best 10 3-pointers and only allowed the Bulldogs four.

- Samford out rebounded UTC 35-27 with both teams grabbing five offensive boards … UTC had seven second chance points compared to three for Samford.

- All but three points for the Mocs came from the starters, but
Brooklyn Crouch's 3-pointer came amidst a 15-2 run by the Mocs in the second quarter that put UTC up 24-21 … the Bulldogs outscored UTC 7-3 to close out the quarter and lead 28-27 headed into overtime.

- There were four lead changes and five ties in the third quarter … Samford had a last second layup to take the lead into the fourth.

- The Mocs took the lead at the start of the fourth quarter and went on a 15-2 run to get ahead 57-47 with 2:22 to play … Samford got as close as three, 58-55, with 43 seconds to play, but the Mocs would hold on for the win.
