- Chattanooga fell 56-54 at UNCG Saturday afternoon on the road … the Mocs are 17-12 overall and 9-5 in the SoCon … UNCG finishes at 15-13 overall and 8-6 in the SoCon, tied with Mercer for fourth.
 
- The Mocs lead the series 47-13 against the Spartans and are now 18-7 in Greensboro … this is the fourth straight win over the Mocs in Greensboro for the Spartans.
 
- Chattanooga was 20-of-43 from the field … that is the fewest field goals attempted by Chattanooga this season.               
 
- UTC was 6-of-17 from the field and 8-of-12 from the free throw line.
 
- The Mocs only allowed UNCG one 3-pointer in six attempts … second fewest attempts by an opponent.
 
- UNCG scored 18 points off 19 Chattanooga turnovers while giving up just eight points on 12 of their own … only the eighth time UTC has given up 18 or more points on turnovers this season.
 
- 14 points is the third most points scored by the Mocs bench this season … Karsen Murphy led with seven.
 
- Chattanooga's largest lead of the game was 24-17 on a Karsen Murphy hook shot with 4:24 to play in the second quarter.
