CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team earned its fifth-straight win behind a 7-0 blanking of Alabama A&M on Saturday afternoon inside McCallie School's Strang-Voges Tennis Center.

Following the win, Chattanooga improves to 8-1 on the season behind its five-match win streak. Alabama A&M falls to 4-5 overall after the defeat.

The Mocs opened a 1-0 lead after doubles action behind victories at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.
Coco Bosman and
Lucia Garrigues-Melendez earned a 6-0 blanking at the bottom spot before
Nicole Abel and
Pippa Bosman clinched the team's point with a 6-1 win at No. 2.
