ABOUT CHATTANOOGA GOLF
MESA, Ariz.---The Chattanooga Mocs are in 11th with 18 holes to play at the Clover Cup. The ladies turned in 305 over the Saturday round at Longbow Golf Club.
Kera Healey and
Dorota Zalewska had matching 73s to lead the group.
Carolina Hortian was close behind with 75, while
Megan Docherty completed the team tally with 84.
Nieves Martin's 89 was the drop score.
"Kera and Dori are in good positions," Coach
Colette Murray shared. "If they play to what they are capable of Sunday, they're both going to be really pleased with their weekend."
Healey is in search of her second top 10 in three 2023 starts. She's tied for eighth with a 2-under total of 142. Zalewska joins her in the top 15 tied for 14th at level-par 144. Docherty's 161 is next on the Mocs list followed by Hortian (162) and Martin (168).
Texas A&M remains in the team lead. The Aggies's 560 is 10 clear of New Mexico in second at 570. Tennessee's Angela Arora is the individual leader at 7 under.
Saturday's second 18 starts at 10 a.m., Eastern time for Chattanooga and playing partners Colorado State and Indiana. The trio opens on hole No. 1. Live scoring and pairings are linked above.
