HILTON HEAD, S.C.---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team finished seventh at the Southern Conference Championships Tuesday afternoon. The ladies' final round 309 was the third lowest of the field on the final day for a 951 total.
 
Kera Healey paced the group's effort with 75 which was one better than Megan Docherty's 76. Carolina Hortian and Dorota Zalewska each tallied 79. Nieves Martin stepped into the lineup and shot 86.
 
Zalewska tied for 14th overall at 234. That was one ahead of Healey in a tie for 18th at 235. Docherty finished at 241, while Hortian completed the 54 holes at 245.
 
Furman (894) was the winner by 19 strokes over runner-up Mercer (913). Western Carolina (926) followed ahead of ETSU (934) and Wofford (935) in fourth and fifth, respectively. Samford (949) was sixth just ahead of the Mocs followed by UNCG (956) and The Citadel (1035).
 
The Paladins' Anna Morgan was medalist with 2-under 214.
