ABOUT CHATTANOOGA GOLF
CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team shot 304 for round two of the Chattanooga Classic at Council Fire Golf Club Monday. The Mocs are tied for 14th with Middle Tennessee at 612, three ahead of Old Dominion.
Dorota Zalewska had a blemish-free 69 today. She turned in three birdies and 15 pars to pace the Mocs on day two. Healey bounced back with 74, while Hortian and Docherty rounded out the team scoring with 78 and 83, respectively.
Nieves Martin had the drop score with 87 as
Isabella Yu Lee shot 85 playing as an individual.
Zalewska is tied for fifth overall at 2-under 142. Healey is next with 153 ahead of Hortian's 155. Docherty is at 162 followed by Martin's 174. Yu Lee is in between with 164.
SMU's 3-under 285 today gives the Mustangs a commanding 11-stroke lead. They sit at 3-under 573 ahead of Augusta in second. Xavier's Emma McMyler is the individual leader at 8 under, 136.
The final round is a shotgun start at at 9 a.m. The Mocs are playing with Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion. The groups start on holes 13-15, Yu Lee fans can catch her off No. 16. Full results, live scoring and pairings are linked above.
