SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.---Chattanooga Mocs May graduate Dorota Zalewska completed play on day three of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships. She missed the cut shooting a final 78.
 
Zalewska started the day nine shots off the cutline at tee time. She continued to hit greens in regulation, but for 18 more holes, her putter did not cooperate. Zalewska posted 12 pars and six bogeys. It was just the third birdie-less card she had all season.
 
Despite the disappointment, she was able to reflect positively on the experience.
 
"(The experience) was great," Zalewska shared. "I got to play against the game's best in the world. It was not my week, but I will be back. That's for sure. I'm not giving up.
 
"I'll play some events this summer and prepare to qualify for the Tour whether that's here in the States or in Europe."
 
The top 15 teams move on to Monday along with the top nine individuals not on those squads. The individual champion is decided among those 84 golfers then with the top eight teams advancing to match play on Tuesday and Wednesday.
