2023-24 Roster
CHATTANOOGA --- With the summer weeks in full swing and basketball season on the horizon, it's time to preview the Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball roster and its newcomers ahead of the 2023-24 campaign. Part IV features true freshman guard
Myles Che.
A late true freshman addition to the 2023-24 roster, Che comes to the Scenic City following a year of prep work at The Skill Factory in Atlanta, Ga. He arrives with four years of immediate eligibility and will look for early playing time at the point position.
"Myles will be a welcomed addition to our program. He is a powerfully built point guard who has great pace to his game," said head coach
Dan Earl about the addition.
"Myles has the ability to get downhill and make plays for himself and his teammates. He will bring versatility at the guard position, with his size and strength. Myles fits our culture perfectly and will be fun to watch for the next four years."
The 6'3 point guard was ranked as a three-star prospect in the 2023 class according to Rivals.com and was previously committed to South Florida before a coaching staff change opened his recruitment. He committed to UTC back on May 1.
Che was a standout at TSF last season and helped the program finish with a 38-3 overall record that included a national championship title on the prep circuit in 2023. He joins fellow newcomer teammate
Tyler Millin as products of TSF.
Che averaged 14.5 points and 7.5 assists per game during the 2023 season with TSF and shot the ball at an efficient clip, finishing the year at 52% from the field and 42% from deep. The Los Angeles, California, native was the top scoring performer at the 2022 NBA Academy Games during his time on the prep circuit.
