CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team opens the 2023-24 season this weekend in a familiar locale. The Mason Rudolph Championships tee off Friday at Vanderbilt's Legends Club North Course with the Mocs making their 10th appearance overall, third year in a row.

The event is always a who's who of collegiate golf and this year is no different. Seven top 20 teams in the Women's Golf Coaches Association Coaches Poll are on hand for the 3-day, 54-hole venture across the par 72, 6491-yard treat just south of Nashville.

The are two returners in sophomore Kera Healey (SoCon All-Freshman) & junior Nieves Martin. The six newcomers include two freshmen - Violeta Fernandez (Spain) & Giulia Foresta (Italy) - and four transfers - Carmen Belmonte (Grand Canyon), Makenzie Cooper (Colorado), Alexis Daniel (Cincinnati) & Imogen Rafferty (McKendree).

This weekend's lineup sees Healey lead the line with Fernandez, Foresta, Cooper and Belmonte. They earned their spots through an extensive qualifying process over the past month.

The Mocs tee off Friday at 11:14 a.m., Eastern time. Belmonte leads the group off of No. 10 playing with Auburn and Baylor. Live scoring, including pairings when available, is linked above.
