Head Coach Shawn Poppie:
The way the team came together in final period to not allow comeback:
"I think we relaxed a little bit, but their pressure did some of that to us. They amped the pressure up a little bit, and we just got a had a couple of mental errors. Just a couple of unorthodox things, I thought we were able to hold our cool a little bit there and make enough plays down the stretch, but I'm proud of our defensive effort."
 
On defensive play on the road sweep:
"We just came through to win all three and doing it the way we did…it wasn't the prettiest offensive nights, but I thought that we showed a lot of toughness and continued to just find ways to win."
 
On the team's winning effort:
"Obviously Jada (Guinn) had a really good game for us, and we just found enough around it. Addie Grace was pretty solid and made enough plays for us. Ultimately, it's a full team team effort, and we just kind of find different ways (to win). Today, we went super, super small. We just thought that was the best lineup against them, and it was successful enough."
 
On the mindset today:
"I thought our mentality was there from start to finish. We had a couple lulls, but it was just it's a game, right? It's part of it. But overall, I was really, really pleased with with our energy, our effort and our focus. Anytime you can win on the road, hold somebody in their home gym to 41 points, I think you've done a pretty good job."

Addie Grace Porter, Jr., G
On the team keeping the same mindset for this game.
"I think we just prepare every week the same no matter what or who we're playing. This week was a little different since we had more time and not playing a game on Thursday, but that just gave us extra time to lock in on us and know what we're going to do. Our opponent is gonna change every game, we gotta stay the same. We're the only people that can be us."

On the tenacity and grit that UTC brought to the defensive side of the ball today.
"It's definitely something we came into this week talking about. Defense travels every time we're on the road. Shots aren't always going to fall but the defense and the details will always travel with you. We locked in on that and held true to it."

Jada Guinn, Gr., G
On the defense becoming the main focus of this team.
"It just shows the culture that we have here. You can't control if you make a shot, but you can control what you bring defensively. Coach Poppie always talks about how defense travels, and that's what we did today."

On being a win away from clinching at least a share of the SoCon regular season title.
"It's definitely been a special run. We're undefeated but we just wanna take it one game at a time. It'll be a special game, but we just wanna prepare like we would any other game."
